7 Ways to Get beach body ready
1. High-Intensity Interval Training (HIIT)
If you are on a mission to get your beach body ready, a High-Intensity Interval Training workout routine will help you blast fat. Better known as HIIT, which may include jump rope, jumping jacks, sprints, or a plyometric movement followed by a short rest. For example, you can do an intense jump rope for 30 seconds followed by 15 seconds of rest repeated 6x. Your goal is to become breath less during each interval.
2. Drinking Plenty of Water
Your body requires water for many vital functions. Therefore, you need to drink plenty of water, especially while trying to get your beach body ready. Drinking water is essential for building muscle, burning fat, and maintaining your body in proper shape. If you do not drink enough water, you will break down essential functions that depend on water. Along with cushioning joints and vital organs, water flushes out toxins from our bodies which can lead to weight loss.
3. Getting More Sleep
Rest is equally important while working hard to prepare your beach body. Getting enough sleep reduces stress levels and helps you lose weight. Sleeping eight hours a night increases weight loss more than those who sleep less. This is because your body utilizes sleeping time to recover and build muscles.
4. Following a Healthy Nutritious Diet
This can be an obvious thing while planning for your beach body. You must have heard the saying – ‘Abs are made in the kitchen.’ Although the importance of exercise for fitness is undoubted, a healthy diet is equally vital for your health and losing fat. If you want your body to perform as intended, you must fuel it properly. Avoid junk food, soft drinks, and excess carbs while adding fresh veggies and fruits. Creating these healthy habits will serve you year-round.
5. Splitting Your Cardio
This is another workout variation you can try to get beach body ready. You should split your cardio into two to three sessions a day. For example, if you do 60 minutes of cardio for the day, you will get better results by splitting it between two to three sessions instead of doing it all at once. For instance, you can do 30 minutes of fast paced cardio like a low-impact walking program, the second session of 15 minutes post-workout, and another 15 minutes before your final meal.
6. Maintaining Calorie Deficit Diet
The concept of a calorie deficit diet is very simple and gives the best results to those who follow it correctly. If you plan to destroy body fat, you should reduce your intake of calories to the level where your body will utilize stored fat as a source of energy. In general, most adults should target their diets to comprise of 45-65% Carbohydrates, 10-35% Protein and 20-35% Fat. (If you're trying to lose weight, the number should be adjusted to 10-30% Carbohydrates, 40-50% Protein and 30-40% Fat.)
